Knitting Notions is a family owned and operated business. We opened in 2005 with our first product, our handmade Yarn Swifts, and have added to our product line as our business grew. We now produce a large line of handmade fiber tools for knitters, crocheters, weavers, and spinners. 99% of the products that we sell are made by us or another American small business.
Hand Dyed Yarn
Our yarns are carefully selected for their high quality, versatility, and durability. We dye all of our yarns with dyes rated to be the best for color and light fastness. We mix all of our colors ourselves to reflect the colors of nature and to compliment each other. Natural colors look great on everyone and are a pleasure to work with.
We offer a range of bases from a heavy lace weight, fingering weights, to sport weight yarns. All of our hand dyed yarns are composed of super fine merino wool, which is one of the softest yarns you can buy. We like it for that quality and also for how beautifully it takes the dyes.
