A soft spun 2ply 100% superfine Merino wool lace weight yarn. It is slightly heavier and springier than a lot of lace weight yarns which makes it very easy to work with, especially for those new to lace knitting.
Items knit from this yarn are very light, airy, and warm; yet still have a nice body and stitch definition. It's softness and delicacy are wonderful to wear. It This wonderful lace yarn blocks like a dream and is just perfect for shawls and scarves.
We skein these into 50g skeins of approximately 385 yds. to make it easier to buy only the quantity you need for your project.
All of our hand dyed yarn will stand up to gentle washing without fading or running. We have selected the dyes we use for their excellent light fast and color fast rating.
