Knitting Notions is a family owned and operated business. We opened in 2005 with our first product, our handmade Yarn Swifts, and have added to our product line as our business grew. We now produce a large line of handmade wood and leather products as well as hand dyed merino wool yarns. 99% of the products that we sell are made by us or another American small business.
Spiral Effect Cowl
The Spiral Effect Cowl is a simple lace cowl pattern that is written for one skein of fingering weight yarn.
Materials: Knitting Notions Classic Merino Superwash Sock yarn; Knitting Notions Classic Merino Bamboo or any soft fingering weight yarn with at least 430 yards per 100g.
Notes: This cowl is knit in the round in one piece. The original stitch pattern is suitable for advanced beginners comfortable with circular needles. A note on the stitch pattern: the pattern shifts twice in the overall repeat and you need to pay attention when to move your beginning of round place marker.
